The Opportunity:

As a member of our high-performing Global Payroll Team based in Bangkok, you will play an integral role to support and manage the day-to-day accounting operations within the Payroll function. You will be responsible to perform regional financial and accounting forecasting, planning and analysis understand past performance, establish baseline metrics, and/or determine present and future performance.

In This Role, You’ll Get To..

• Supervise and ensure performance of month end activities which include the preparation of all monthly journal entries and reconciliation of key payroll related balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to manage regulatory and internal financial audits and share vest reconciliation
• Develop key reporting metrics regarding external vendor billing position and business process analytics to Finance Accounting team
• Manage escalations for accounting matters relating to Payroll, providing feasible solutions to address issue in a timely manner
• Collaborate with Finance business controls team in execution of SOX controls and documentation of controls updates
• Manage Global Payroll monthly and annual accrual, budgeting, and forecasting, utilizing reporting tools to provide insightful budgetary analysis
• Conduct regular reviews of the team’s operating model and propose and implement best practices that simplify, standardize and scale how Payroll Accounting team works
• Manage Payroll Accounting team’s development & capabilities to support finance and business needs on a global scale; set clear expectations & goals; drive positive team culture

What You’ll Need To Succeed

• High level of discretion, confidentiality, and ethics
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Fluency in English is a must
• Resilience and ability to absorb ambiguity and drive change
• Strong analytical, articulation and problem-solving skills, with great attention to details
• Highly organized, task focused and very meticulous
• At least 5 years of related accounting operations experience with global company; experience in payroll and business controls design will be a strong plus
• Proficient in all MS products: Word, PowerPoint, especially in Excel etc
• Resilience to work under tight deadlines and under pressure
• Experience in leading and developing a team
• Experience in annual and monthly accrual, budgeting and forecasting is a must
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related finance field. Any additional accounting qualification will be a plus
