Job Summary
Reports directly to the General Manager, Group Human Resources based in Malaysia, the incumbent takes charge of the local country's entire HR operations matters with key focus on talent acquisition with the support of one (1) direct subordinate.
Duties & Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
1. Manage the entire talent acquisition process for office staff from end to end.
2. Responsible in developing recruitment strategies and plans that are able to fulfil the business
needs.
3. Review and implement continuous improvements of talent acquisition process.
HR Backend Support
4. Responsible to check, review and verify monthly payroll and to ensure the payroll process is
accurate and reliable.
5. To verify commission, claims payment including its tabulation and calculation.
6. Ensure compliance with all government statutory bodies requirements, its deadline and keep
abreast of current legislation, and also handling general correspondences with government
statutory bodies.
7. Ensure HR policies and procedures are adhered to and highlights to Management for review
and updates of SOPs as and when required.
8. Provides support to local Managers on matters pertaining to staffing issues such as employee
counselling, grievance, show cause, warning letters etc.
9. Administer all administration requirements for the smooth running of the office.
Competency requirements
1. Working experiences in retail or beauty/cosmetics or FMCG is preferred
2. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business or equivalent.
3. A minimum of five years of progressive experience in Human Resources positions with
strong knowledge of Labour Law. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements and
government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions.
4. Good interpersonal skills, Fluent in English language both oral and written communication.
5. Mature personality and able to handle situations independently.
6. High integrity, trustworthy to handle highly confidential matters.
