UTS International is recruiting for an Indonesia-based Strategic Projects and Partnerships Manager to take responsibility for driving the development of new offshore business and partnerships for UTS, particularly online and face-to-face short courses and enterprise learning (Corporate Training), Transnational Education (TNE) and identifying business relationships which will deliver new modes of teaching and learning outside Australia.
If successful in applying for this role, you will:
- Identify and pursue a pipeline of new business opportunities in the education and training sector, including partnerships and strategic alliances with both the private and public sectors, government agencies, and NGOs.
- Be the in-country point of contact and coordination for UTS delegations to Indonesia.
- Liaise with in-country UTS staff to build brand awareness and activity as required.
- Conduct market research and due diligence for each live opportunity to capture the market’s learner and client needs and preferences, pricing, and delivery model scenarios.
- Triage opportunities and develop business proposals. Actively manage the proposal through end-to-end project management and client liaison. Includes monitoring and reporting.
- Provide regular reports on (including but not limited to) Indonesia’s market insights, opportunities, and competitors across higher education, government priorities and funding mechanisms, executive education, and transnational education environment.
- Attending meetings, conferences, and industry-related events for market insights and opportunity development as required.
- Develop and implement business development strategy and plans to achieve partnership and delivery KPIs in Indonesia for award/non-award programs under innovative and sustainable academic delivery models.
- Identify, build, and managerelationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders across corporate, government, and other organizations.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated success in building positive working relationships with clients and partners.
- Strong self-motivation skills and goal-orientated to drive business activities forward into delivery and completion.
- Outstanding time management and organisational skills with a proven ability to deal with multiple tasks, establish priorities, meet deadlines, and work across multiple projects simultaneously
- Working knowledge of international education delivery models, and industry and learner markets is highly favourable
- Experience working in a complex regulatory environment (preferably between international education partnerships).
- Fluency in English
- Prior experience in the higher education industry or training and development (including Executive Education / Learning and Development) is essential.
- Demonstrated experience in the education and training sector in identifying, designing, and delivering courses and/or projects
- Experience and knowledge of industry/government-related programs and funding mechanisms.
