Quality Manager Jobs

Job Purpose (General summary)

• Lead quality communications with local buying offices
• Communicate quality issues with HK office and appropriate internal and external stakeholders
• Oversees all Quality functions of our manufacturing unit in Semarang
• Drive the Quality KPI’s in all stages of production from incoming raw material to finished goods shipment

Ensure that the quality of our products meet/exceed our clients and business expectations and will be the Hoplun Kaizen & Quality Champion

Responsibilities

• Drive RFT and other quality gate KPI’s
• Work closely with local buyers (as required) and HK Quality Director on all outstanding quality issues
• Regular and ongoing communication with Production, and Buyers for all Quality activities and pending issues
• Create and manage action plans directly with quality department for all pending and NC areas
• Tracking & monitoring all QMS data reports and provide clear directions based on results

Monthly Functions:

• Conduct regular assessments on individual performance
• Develop Quality Training programs

Other Regular Functions:

• Work closely with local operations head for all actions and improvement plans
• Organize regular meetings with all relevant departments to update quality issues, preparation and guidelines
• Oversees opening and closing meetings for all buyer Quality audits

Yearly Functions:

• Review Factory Quality Staff Performance together with production heads and evaluation KPI report
• Prepare SMART goals and set clear directions accordingly
• Create Quality SWOT’s

Special Assignments:

• 2.Monitoring the Annual Factory Evaluation and coordinate with HK Customers audit schedule
• 1.Set up local Organizational Chart, define the processes and identify the head counts according to workers skills

Qualifications

• Previous onsite manufacturing experience highly preferred
• Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques/Six Sigma background is highly valued
• Diploma, Degree or Masters (full time) from any reputable Institutes preferably in Industrial, Quality or Production Management (Textile & Apparel)
• Minimum 12 years relevant experience with minimum of 8 years of manufacturing Quality Leadership Roles
• Certificate of Training in Garment Testing, QMS, Production and Compliance
