Regional Tax Manager Jobs

Big Fish Hunter is hiring on behalf of our respected client, a Coal Mining company. We are looking for Regional Tax Manager.

The ideal candidate will be responsible to overseeing and managing all tax-related matters within the area of operations. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, optimizing tax strategies, and minimizing tax liabilities while supporting the company's financial goals and objectives.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Assist / Monitoring in tax compliance and implementation of monthly/quarterly/ annual payment & submission and reconciliation for all Qinfa’s entities in Indonesia to ensure to meet all direct and indirect tax obligations;
• Evaluate the potential impact of tax legislation on the Company and recommend the proper course of action;

·Manage the Company’s transfer pricing policy and maintain required transfer pricing documentation;

• Give guidance to subordinate in term of tax compliance either in direct & indirect tax advisory.
• Managing all tax audits, reviews and disputes across the Companies;
• Manage the communication with tax office to ensure the compliance and updated with tax legislation
• Review and plan innovative tax plan methods to minimise overall company’s tax liabilities and the risk profile, for example, develop efficient tax plans for the recognition of sales revenue in accounts in order to save on taxes or apply tax exemptions to benefit the company
• Develop and document systematic internal procedures, templates, reporting processes, etc that adhere to national standards and to ensure timely submission of relevant reports/form
• Managing the tax compliance process;
• Help to identify, evaluate and advise management on the income tax consequences of current and proposed strategy transactions;

General Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 10 years of tax working experience, with minimum 5 years in tax consultant firm and having commercial exposure ；
• Experience in Coal Mining Industry is an advantage.
• Preferably with leadership / supervisory experience at least 5 years;
• A fast learner, open to change and high adaptability to fast-pace and demanding environment ;
• Have strong analytical skills with competency in accounting knowledge and put attention to details;
• Efficiency in Mandarin is an advantage;
• Fluent in English is a must;
• Having a CA (Chartered Accountant) qualification is an advantage；
• Acquire problem-solving skills with good communication skills; and
• Having Brevet A,B&C qualification；
• Strong understanding of Indonesia tax law/practice and general knowledge of the local country statutory and taxation requirements and tax incentives in Indonesia;
