Product Manager (Confluent & EDB)

Responsibilities:

• Measure and review the growth with in-country leaders and category managers, and drive remediation plan (where required)
• Conceptualize marketing programs, developing of channel and end-customer demand generation
• Gathering of market intelligence on new products, industry trends, competitive development, and constant evaluation of potential new product lines
• Support and / participate in regular EDB & Confluent product Business Reviews
• Channel development and training
• Engage with Ingram Micro country leaders and vendor team to drive the agreed net new incremental revenue
• Will be expected to learn and understand EDB & Confluent offerings / solutions, and able to present and articulate a bundled integrated vendors GTM plan
• To present and articulate with confidence to resellers and end customers on the RedHat solutions and Ingram Micro offerings
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Services team to create and drive solutions to the resellers and / or end customers
• Evangelize EDB and Confluent products
• Work with Ingram Micro Account Manager
• Engagement and cultivation of strong rapport with partners and vendors
• Liaise and work with Ingram Micro country vendor team to: (1) Drive partner onboarding and enablement, (2) Execute / deliver agreed number of principal solution demo / POC to Ingram Micro resellers and end customers within an agreed period, (3) Support execution of sales program and demand generation campaigns

Requirements:

• Good foundation knowledge of Operating systems, DevOps, and Open sources
• Knowledge and / or experience with the underlying Dataplatform domains will be preferred
• Knowledge and / or experience with the underlying Dataplatform domains will be preferred
• Sound knowledge / passion in IT industry / products / solutions preferred
• Diploma/Degree in Business / Marketing / IT or an equivalent discipline

(1) Enterprise DB and Confluent software solution

(2) Database Technology, Data streaming,

(3) Kafka Technologies, distributed data systems, public and private clouds, and stream processing

(4) PostgreSQL, DBA knowledge

• Creative with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Passion to work in the technology industry
