As a Principal Sales Representative in Indonesia, you will be responsible for driving sales and achieving revenue targets for a designated product or service line. You will play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and providing guidance to the sales team. Your expertise in sales strategies, market trends, and customer needs will be essential in driving business growth and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities

  • Relationship Management:
  • Team Leadership and Development:
  • Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to drive sales opportunities and secure long-term partnerships.
  • Utilize CRM systems and sales tools to track customer interactions, manage leads, and monitor sales activities.
  • Sales Strategy and Execution:
  • Lead by example in prospecting, qualifying leads, and closing deals, while providing guidance and support to the sales team.
  • Generate accurate sales forecasts, reports, and pipeline updates for management review.
  • Develop and implement sales training programs to enhance the team's product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer relationship management skills.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and aligning solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, setting clear expectations, goals, and targets.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and adapt strategies accordingly to optimize sales outcomes.
  • Identify target markets, customer segments, and key accounts to focus sales efforts on, aligning with the overall business objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and maximize market penetration for the assigned product or service line.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and product development, to ensure effective product positioning and market competitiveness.
  • Sales Reporting and Analysis:
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts to maximize revenue potential.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
  • Coach and mentor team members, conducting regular performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback for individual and team growth.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to anticipate market changes and position the company as a trusted advisor.
Must Have
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, sales automation tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of sales strategies, techniques, and processes, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions.
  • Proven track record of successful sales performance in a similar role, with at least 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the same industry or related field.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Indonesian languages.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team to achieve targets.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
