Devops Engineer (Remote) Jobs

Main Responsibilities:

• Maintain the Hybrid Infrastructure provisioning and configuration: designing, implementing, and

managing the infrastructure required by software development, testing, and deployment.

• Continuous Integration and Deployment: Selecting, deploying, and enhancing appropriate CI/CD

tools to ensure software updates can be released quickly, securely and reliability. endeavouring

for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and

constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)

• Implementing several testing’s (sandboxing), development, automation tools and production

infrastructure environments in public and private clouds using IaC.

• Automate and orchestrate various components and services to work seamlessly together,

promoting a more efficient and reliable software development workflow.

• Set up logging systems to collect and analyse logs for troubleshooting, performance, optimization,

and security purposes.

• Be engaged in planning the team structure, activities, and involvement in project management

activities, where managing stakeholders and external partner would be required.

• Understand DirectAsia requirements for projects and ensure resolving issues between KPIs.

• Have robust technical skills to review, verify, and validate software code developed in the project.

• Incidence management and root cause analysing with good capability to troubleshooting

techniques and fixing the code bugs, especially in IaC popular tools.

• Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability

assessment and risk management in collaboration of operation and infosec teams.

Main Competence :

• Responsible for building and operating of hybrid platform (public & private cloud)

• Work alongside Operations and software developers’ teams in designing suitable platforms.

• Collaborate and assist developers in the deployment IT services and products.

• Maintain and enhance IaC and CI/CD platform.

• Enhance and operate the cloud services for monitoring, backup, and security platforms.

• Responsible to maintain a cost efficiency and robustness of hybrid platforms using innovative ideas.

• Understanding of infrastructure architecture and the interconnectedness of environments.

• Understanding of Agile frameworks and the role infrastructure plays in the delivery of change.

• Experience with using and maintaining systems documentation.

• Understanding of IT governance, Cyber Security and Infosec controls, policies, and procedures

• Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner.

• Understanding of networking, security, and traditional compute infrastructure

• Hands on experience on Kubernetes and containerization technologies like Docker and Azure Container Registry

• Collaborate and lead organization through cloud adoption and establish best practices.

• Vet and select cloud providers and third-party services.

Skills and

Knowledge

• Public cloud services – Azure, AWS

• Excellent working knowledge of tool, open-source technologies, and cloud services for IaC and CI/CD implementation such as Azure DevOps, Git, Terraform, PowerShell, Azure CLI, and others.

• Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles.

• Decent understanding of databases such as MySQL and Cosmos DB

• Experience working on Linux based infrastructure.

• Good understanding of code language like Python, Java
