Manager - Order Management

A new opportunity has arisen for a skilled Order Management Manager like you, to oversee and bring expertise to our team.

Rolls-Royce Power Systems is headquartered in Friedrichshafen in southern Germany and employs around 9,000 people. The product portfolio includes mtu-brand high-speed engines and propulsion systems for ships, power generation, heavy land, rail and defence vehicles and for the oil and gas industry as well as diesel and gas systems and battery containers for mission critical, standby and continuous power, combined generation of heat and power, and microgrids.

Key Accountabilities

• Development and continuous improvement of processes and employee skills. Identify training needs to support evolution of products and solutions portfolio.
• Plan, maintain and monitor OPEX/CAPEX, using available budgets effectively and efficiently according to department requirements.
• Special Assignments
• Prepare and submit reports based on assignment.
• Cooperation with internal departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment on processes, customer support and strategy.
• Customer engagement in sales and order processing; Supply chain management and continuous monitoring and development of supplier network for meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
• Continuous strategy development and execution of business plan.
• Management and supervision of Order Management and Warehouse activities at all locations, meeting given KPIs.
• Ensure all activities are in accordance with Company & Corporate Policies, Code of Conduct, ISO standards, Quality Management System, Compliance and HSE.
• Lead and inspire the team to achieve department goals and company objectives.

Qualifications And Skills

• Good analytical skills, result-oriented, working independently, contributing to team success.
• Excellent track record in achieving business targets, strategy development, and successful execution.
• Customer focus with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent in networking with external customers and internal stakeholders.
• At least 10 years of working experience in B2B sales or service business of industrial goods, including a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office, SAP
• Experience in Project Management.
• Proficient in written & spoken English
• Strong leadership and human relations skills, self-driven for taking initiative, team player with good interpersonal skills.
• Degree in Engineering
