As a Senior Manager/Director in the Deloitte Quality and Risk Management team, you will play a key role in influencing the outcomes of our High Value and Priority Projects across our wide range of services, in the Southeast Asia region.
Responsibilities

• Recommend corrective and/or mitigating actions as appropriate
• Assist project teams to deliver their financial targets and business outcomes by helping reduce the profit erosion on projects (Cost of Quality, COQ)
• Periodically identify, recommend and implement improvements to the quality management processes
• Report on project status to internal stakeholders and to Clients, mediating as required
• Support QA Partners in conducting engagement reviews and checks on large active projects
• Contribute to the Firm’s knowledge management efforts, eg by working with engagement teams as required to sanitize, collect and publish quals and collaterals etc
• Work as part of the Quality and Risk Management (QRM) team together with project teams such as the FSI (Financial Services and Insurance) Industry based engagements to ensure the successful delivery of projects
• Review project contract documents such as Statement of Work, Change Orders, Subcontractor agreements etc., to ensure that the delivery risks in the engagement are addressed at the start through the agreement
• Review projects from all perspectives including contract management, financial management, risk management, use of tools and methodologies, compliance to guidelines etc.
• Continually optimize the allocation of the Firm’s resources to minimize COQ

If you are someone with :
Mandatory Experience

• Experience in managing large Financial Services and Insurance (FSI) projects (especially focused on Core Banking and Digital Transformation programs)
• Experience in Digital platform deployments, and/or cloud-based/SaaS solutions
• Experience in identifying and managing risks and overseeing quality as part of the project delivery responsibilities
• Minimum 8-10 years of systems implementation experience delivering large and/or complex ICT projects for external clients with at least 5-7 years in day-to-day project/program management

Mandatory Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively across all levels of internal and external stakeholders
• Able to make good decisions under pressure and to multi-task
• Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving mindset

Additional Considerations

• Occasional travel in the Southeast Asia region may be required
• Involved in developing and executing overall project roadmaps, including the Agile delivery approach would be a plus
• The candidate can be based in Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, or Indonesia
• A self-motivated, proactive individual who is able to work independently as well as in a team environment

Certifications

• Candidates with Project Management, Agile delivery methodology, Contract Management, Six Sigma Certifications etc have an added advantage
• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related discipline
