Job Description

Fexco are currently recruiting for a Key Account Development Manager to join their team. This role is a permanent, full-time position based in Jakarta, Indonesia.


Job Purpose

As a Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) Key Account Development Manager you will be joining a highly motivated team of Account Managers in building strong relationships with our acquiring partners throughout our global network.

We are seeking candidates with a strong customer-facing, relationship management and business development background. You will need an in-depth knowledge of the Payments Industry and common trends within and be able to identify, pursue and close opportunities.

The role requires a self-motivated and enthusiastic candidate to maximise existing business potential and new revenue opportunities in Indonesia.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work with Acquirers to devise new and improved ways of selling DCC and promoting its use.
  • Responsible for promoting the services offered by DCC within Indonesia
  • Source and build relationships and provide support to Fexco Management in securing agreements with new partners to assure Fexco of a pipeline of new opportunity and to build the Fexco brand in the Payments ecosystem.
  • Build strong relationships with existing acquiring partner(s) and their merchants to raise the profile of DCC within their organisation and maximise DCC opportunities.
  • Support the DCC strategy plan for Acquirers across all channels which will include target revenue, hit rate management and action plan.
  • You will also be responsible for prospecting, generating demand and providing support to Fexco Management in securing new business relationships beyond existing partnerships that deliver new value to Fexco Payments and FX in Indonesia.
  • Report to the Vice President on business activity, hit rate and revenue progress against plan.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Strong IT Skills particularly in Microsoft office applications such as Word, Powerpoint, Outlook and Excel.
  • Third level qualification in a relevant field (e.g. business/technology/finance) or strong demonstrable relevant experience in a current/past role.
  • Minimum 5 years’ industry experience in financial services and/or the payments industry and ecosystem is required.

  • Comfortable and capable of communicating with all levels of people within and outside the business, both written and verbal, and with a high level of professionalism.
  • Adaptable to establishing new ways of working using the digital landscape to progress and achieve results.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing new ideas to improve processes.
  • Flexible attitude to working hours and willingness to travel.
  • Ability to assimilate into the partner organisation(s) whilst maintaining a professional client relationship.
  • Fluency in English with additional language skills would be advantageous
  • Ability to work autonomously and have the ability to plan strategically and have a proven track record of working in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to demonstrate strong organisation and prioritisation skills within a sales and relationship management environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise without compromising on the high level of customer service required to maintain and build on existing relationships.
  • Ability to work under pressure and successfully manage a very diverse and demanding workload combined with an ability to work autonomously.
