As a Sales manager at BekaertDeslee Indonesia, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales efforts in the mattres fabrics and covers across the Asian market. WInte are a seeking highly motivated and experienced professional who has a proven track record of success in international sales, specifically in Asia. This position requires a deep understanding of the Asian market dynamics, excellent communication skills and a passion for building and maintaining strong customer relationships. Together with the Sales team, you will be responsible for the overall sales performance by implementing the sales strategy for BekaertDeslee Indonesia. Other key responsibilities are:

  • You Travel frequently within the Asian region to meet clients, attend trade shows and participate in industry events.
  • You report to the Sales & Marketing Director
  • You collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to align strategies and drive growth.
  • You Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities and market developments.
  • You closely work together with the customer service and the design team
  • You partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives and to ensure long-term success
  • You identify key customers, distributors and partners in the Asian market and build a strong relationship with them.
  • You manage the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • You effectively communicate our value proposition through proposals and presentations
  • You negotiate and close deals with prospective clients and partners, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company
  • You collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless order processing, logistics and delivery.
  • You track sales metrics and generate reports on a regular basis, providing accurate and timely updates to the Sales Director.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders at all levels and represent BekaertDeslee globally
  • Strong interest and understanding of Asian business practices, cultural nuances and negotiation strategies
  • Provenexperience as an International Sales Manager in a B2B environment, preferably in mattresses, bedding or associated relevant field
  • Affinity with textile, colors and fashion.
  • A passion for sales and demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets in an international context.
  • MSc in business administration, marketing, sales or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and/or relevant software (e.g. SAP)
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel in Asia for 50% of your time
  • Team player and service-oriented
