Job Description

About the job:
Month-end Closing:
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliation post month-end close.
  • Prepare journal entries and related schedules for various general ledger accounts (accruals, prepayments, foreign currency revaluation run, petty cash expenses, etc) post month-end close.
  • Participate in the monthly general ledger close process (including accruals).
  • Assist in the monthly timesheet review for all SYNID employees.
Accounts Receivable:
  • Work closely with Project Manager and prepare Commercial Invoice.
  • Liaise with Tax Team for issuance of Tax Invoice.
Accounts Payable:
  • Accrual for expenses (month-end/mid year/year end).
  • Verify and process staff reimbursement expense reports.
  • Process vendor invoice in NetSuite and arrange payments.
Intercompany:
  • Review all intercompany invoices.
  • Review of Intercompany invoices and journals versus timesheets filed by SYNID employees.
  • Prepare IC netting schedule and processing of intercompany settlement/cession (including posting of journal entries).
  • Prepare monthly IC recharges for non-client related charges to related subsidiary.
ERP Support:
  • Create internal project code.
  • Assist in deletion/ amendment to employee timesheet.
  • Assist PM to create Fixed Price and T&M project code (only if they need guidance).
Audit:
  • Prepares and coordinate with the external auditors for the completion of yearly Audited Financial Statements and any other related requirements.
  • Prepare monthly audit schedules for balance sheet and income statement accounts.
Tax and Secretarial Compliances:
  • Provide Corporate Secretarial Team with the information needed for the filing of Quarterly Investment Activity Report (LKPM).
  • Provide Tax Agent with the information needed for the filing of Corporate Income Tax, VAT, Withholding Tax Article 21, 23 and 26 Report.
Treasury:
  • Any other ad-hoc assignment.
  • Update and fill up forms to maintain bank records up to date should there be any change in approval signatories or new joiners/ leavers.
  • Liaise with Bank Relationship Manager for foreign currency settlement.
  • Ad-hoc assignments (if any):
  • Arrange notarization of documents on need to basis.
About you:
  • 5 – 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen.
  • Strong accounting knowledge and familiar with the latest accounting and tax regulations with audit experience.
  • Accounting degree or relevant qualification.
  • Detailed-minded, well organized, responsible, independent, and able to meet tight deadline.
  • Candidates with more experience would be considered as Accountant.
  • Experience of working in a business with multiple entities desirable.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work independently, proactive towards problems and issues.
