Finance - Business Planning & Analysis Executive / Senior Executive

About our client:
Our Client operates in the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Industry, with its headquarters rooted strongly in Singapore. It has its branches spread to more than 5 countries, providing employment to 250 people. Their core business is to represent their client in countries that they do not operate in, and market/sell their products for them. They have achieved a wide client base in a very short time, and are looking for new talent.
Job Role:
To maintain overall financial, business and other relevant information and provide those to the Head of Finance & other Functional Heads for decision making. Review and analyze business results and identify risks and opportunities to ensure expectations are met.
Responsibilities:
Budget / Strategic Plan Activities:

• Organize Budget/Strategic Plan meeting for discussion and challenge of collected numbers with respective departments.
• Finalize the numbers internally and send to the Regional Office through reporting system/templates for challenge and discussion.
• Coordinate and develop budget and strategic plans of the organization in collaboration with the functional departments.
• Participate in the challenge and discussion session along with marketing department for setting up the final Budget/Strategic plan.
• Collect all financial numbers form relevant functional departments and analyse them according to the specific line (sales and Marketing costs and Function costs) according to the Business Franchises.
• Finalize and send the Budget/Strategic Plan numbers to the Regional Office after discussion/challenges.

Analyzing/Monitoring Financial Performance:

• Analyze product wise standard cost of the Head of Finance in line with globally fixed budget rate and provide suggestion for review/fixing the product`s prices.
• Functional Expenses, EBIT, MR and Marketing Contribution etc
• Provide feedback on Cost Centres` performance vs. Budget on a monthly basis to the Function Heads.
• Monitor and implement the global/regional top line protection plan and ring fencing/cost saving initiatives.
• Analyze the actual financial performance compared to budget e.g.

Controlling Activities:

• Develop and implement -wise cost control system in other to check and monitor their actual performance vs budget.
• Develop and implement monthly, quarterly and yearly sales analysis system (by Brand) for measuring performance.

Forecasting Activities:

• Analyze Risk & Opportunities and latest outlook of the business considering products potential in order to evaluate upsite/downside potential.
• Analyze historical trend of sales & costs of the Head of Finance and estimate for next periods by using run rate/actual estimate approach.
• Actively involved with the Company`s forecasting activities through Monthly Forecasting, Latest Estimates (LE) etc.

Reporting Activities:

• Actively involve with the Financial Reporting System (FRS) of the CPO.
• Meet queries from regional office and/ or head office regarding financial activities, etc.
• Prepare the Head of Finance Monthly Business Review (MBR)

Requirements:

• Knowledge pharmaceutical environment.
• Languages : English/Indonesia
• Strong presentation, communication and leadership skills
• Accustomed with email, utility of internet.
• Proficient with different modules Material Management.
• Experienced Manager managing team at least 2 people
• Qualified CIMA or Cost and Management Accountant/CPA/Chartered Accountant MBA major in Finance
• Must have 7-8 years working experience in similar job
• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word, Power Point Outlook etc.)
• Solid Financial and Accounting knowledge and experience
