About Our Client
We are currently partnering with a local property developer company who is looking for a Commercial Director to help them in this time of growth.

• Financial Analysis: Oversee financial analysis and feasibility studies for various projects, assessing their profitability, risks, and potential returns. Collaborate with finance teams to create robust financial models and forecasts for decision-making.
• Commercial Strategy: Develop and implement commercial strategies to maximise revenue generation and market share. Collaborate with senior management to align commercial goals with the company's overall business objectives.
• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on commercial performance, project status, and financial outcomes for presentation to the executive leadership team.
• Business Development: Spearhead business development efforts to identify new opportunities, potential partnerships, and investment prospects. Conduct market research and analysis to assess the viability of new projects and expansion opportunities.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing commercial team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration. Provide guidance and support to team members to enhance their professional growth.
• Market Insights: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences. Utilise this information to drive informed decisions and stay ahead of the competition.

The Successful Applicant

• Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to close complex deals successfully.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial real estate practices, property market dynamics, and investment analysis.
• Proficient in relevant software applications, including MS Office and financial analysis tools.
• Proven track record (15+ years) in commercial leadership roles within the property development or real estate industry.
• Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalise on commercial opportunities.
