About Our Client
My client is a fast growing start-up on the mission to connect buyers and suppliers (shipping-related business) through a digital platform.

Responsibilities:
Strategy

• Ensure the use of business, consumer and market insights to fine tune strategic plans
• Lead the planning, implementation and measurement of all marketing, brand and sales strategy for Indonesia.
• Provide strategic and thought leadership at Group level, particularly in the areas of operations and overall business strategy
• Ownership and leadership of the Indonesia office
• Drive collaborations with strategic local partners to scale revenue
• Develop, implement and practice the use of data analytics to measure progress and performance for effective, continuous improvement of marketing initiatives.
• Maintain the company's brand architecture and brand identity.

Operational Management

• Foster a commitment to continuous improvement within the company
• Accountability to source, and the ongoing contractual management of external vendors and suppliers
• Recruiting, leading and developing the Indonesia team
• Ensure efficiencies on all levels of operations
• Ensure efficiencies in all areas of operations, sales, customer success and support functions

Finance

• Ensure cost efficiencies in all area of operations
• Manage budget with full P&L responsibilities
• Manage and monitor the allocation of resources to ensure performance against plan.

The Successful Applicant
Requirements

• Experience in product development and launch, with a track record of bringing innovative products to market.
• Senior management experience that includes team leadership and team development experience and the management of finances and people
• A self-directed professional who knows what needs to be done and operates with a sense of urgency, focus and discipline.
• Familiarity with business analytic and marketing research to drive business strategies
• Project management skills that enable the delivery projects on time and within budget
• Demonstrated high level budgeting skills, and return on marketing investment analysis.
• Proven experience as a CEO or in a similar executive leadership role in a start-up or fast-paced environment.
• Have an entrepreneurial spirit and drive with the ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Willingness and desire to roll up your sleeves and execute while also seeing the broader vision of the company.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and lead an effective team.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
• 5-8 years experience in a leadership role, preferably in the e-Commerce, transport or logistics industry.
