Job Summary:

The G&LCE Growth team is structured such that the team will work closely and efficiently with business partners, in new, agile, and innovative ways across the different businesses to sustain core business growth and develop new business opportunities for the future. The purpose of this team is to collaborate across business entities to identify new business development opportunities, develop innovative and value driven commercial structures and progress negotiations to protect and grow bp’s value in Indonesia.The Business Development Advisor role reports to the Vice President G&LCE Growth Asia Pacific and is responsible for identifying and evaluating new business opportunities, proposing commercially viable deal structures, supporting and actively participating in negotiations, and advocating for a regulatory framework to support our growing business. This role will work in close partnership with New Gas Opportunities, Subsurface, C&EA and other business partners in support of the gas business leadership team in Asia Pacific region.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :

• Ensure alignment within regional business partners to support bp’s growing G&LCE growth agenda
• Complies with BP's Code of Conduct and models BP's Values & Behaviours.
• Identify new G&LCE business opportunities and develop supporting business case
• Coordinate negotiation/engagement strategy and plan and interface with external parties (Government of Indonesia and potential business partners)
• Ensures effective linkage with Group New Gas Opportunities and LCE including CCS/CCUS team on gas and LCE business opportunities

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION :

• MBA, Master of Finance or accounting qualification is preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or any other equivalent degree.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND JOB REQUIREMENT:

• Strong commercial acumen, economic analysis skills and knowledge of investment governance process
• 10+ years of experience in commercial discipline
• Exceptional performance delivery drive and ability to drive and facilitate business case conversations at different levels
• Ability to manage multiple/conflicting priorities with a strong track record of delivery
• Strong analytical skills and ability to provide fact-based guidance
• Strong influencing skills and one team approach

Some travel may be required with this role, this is negotiable
