Business Analyst – Retail Loans

Requirements and s:

• Experience required with Credit Lending, all aspects of credit lending in core banking Experience working in retail and core banking (Operational / Implementation).
• Strong understanding of the key Consumer Banking profitability drivers and measures of success.
• Map full business processes and implement solutions for technological and process improvements within the context of overall business processes
• 6+ years of experience and end to end knowledge of Retail (Mortgage/Personal/Credit Cards) Lending processes from Lead management, Origination, Servicing to Settlement/Payoff is essential.
• Teamwork and emotional intelligence
• People management skills - introducing and building ways in which people can learn from each other, encouraging mentoring and the transfer of knowledge by designing and delivering learning interventions
• Ability to suggest alternate flows, workaround, business rules and customization.
• Agree the project approach with stakeholders, and prepare realistic plans (including quality, risk, and communications plans)
• Excellent client-facing skills
• Gather business requirements from stakeholders and review existing ones to produce detailed business requirement specification documents
• Assist and lead team contribution and communication to ensure complete requirement coverage
• Good self-management – continuous performance is both an objective and a mind-set
• Agile project experience with excellent BA skills in requirements gathering, documentation, create user stories and process flows are essential.
• Manage and lead multiple phases of technical areas within a project and/or multiple small projects of moderate scope and sometimes complex assignments
• Identify and assess risks to the success of the project
• High value on openness and transparency
• Run workshops using proven techniques for creating detailed business, functional and non-functional requirements
• Has an innovative approach – a bold thinker and doer, matching creativity with vigilance
• Perform and deliver ad-hoc analytical requests thru data analysis and provide insights to address business needs and problems.
