Job Description

TORAJAMELO (TM) is an award winninginclusive impact enterprise headquartered in Jakarta, Indonesia.


A certified B Corp, it was founded in 2008, it specially focuses on collaborating with woman artisans and entrepreneurs from rural excluded communities in order to achieve the following

Alleviation of cycle of systemic poverty by providing livelihood(s)

Cultural sustainability of“weaving” in Indonesia

Preventing break down of families and community due to outward migration

TORAJAMELO has developed a three pillar approach towards achieving a sustainable ecosystem in rural economies. We provide Commercial opportunities for weavers of handwoven textile through our ethical-slow lifestyle brand TORAJAMELO, Community Collaboration to run capacity building and knowledge management of our weavers, and UN SDG and ESG Consultancy to advocate for sustainable social enterprises.

Responsibilities


  • Work on sales forecasts, growth plans, and projections with the CEO and Commercial team for international expansion.
  • Manage and run offline events along with relevant team members.
  • Devise
  • Create and manage a B2B/B2B2C customer online and offline channels
  • Ownership ofsales and business development at designed offline stores by working closely with different team members.
  • Any other tasks as allocated by the reporting manager.
  • Assist, and give inputs for marketing strategy to support business growth.



Qualifications


  • Anyone with maximum 3-4 years of experience or sales.
  • Passion for the environment, rural economies, and impact businesses
  • Entrepreneurial attitude
  • Agile and flexible
  • Retail sales experience will be preferred
  • Comfortable &has familiarity using Social Media – Facebook/Instagram/Linkedin
  • Google suite proficiency
  • Experience in early stage start-ups
  • Basic data analysis skills (Excel/Gsheets)
