Associate Strategy Director Jobs

We are looking for an Associate Strategy Director to join the strong strategy team, to some of our anchor clients that range from energy, FMCG to financial services. The role will entail leading and developing campaign and communications planning to CRM strategy, together with our business directors.

In this role, you will balance long-term client work with pitching and onboarding new business, so you're skilled at making the most of tight deadlines. You can bring a clear point of view to ambiguous projects.

And, you help clients and co-workers pull the bigger creative idea out of the tactics, and work with them to make it stronger and braver.

What you’ll do

• Lead campaign planning, finding interesting insights and partnering with creatives to make ground breaking work and give them interesting, unexpected ways to look at creative solutions
• Lead CRM strategy for one of our key clients, including leading the annual planning cycles and working with the data team to analyse and interpret data and present this in a clear, compelling narrative to clients
• In partnership with Strategy Directors, lead new business pitches and thought leadership
• Use data, research and insight to uncover areas of growth or creative firepower, and synthesize all of this into compelling narratives

What you’ll need

• Expert of brand strategy and communications. This goes without saying, but you'll need to know what brilliant looks like and how to inspire local Creatives here and worldwide to make it happen
• The ability to manage, supervise, and mentor a couple of Planners
• A broad understanding of and affinity for the full mix of media channels, from Social to Digital to Advertising and an ambition to imbue brands with a sense of purpose and pursuit of some ambitious sustainability goals
• Global perspective. We're looking for someone who understands what it takes to identify cultural insights and nuances and can steer work in individual markets as well as multi-market
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in an agency/digital agency, specifically in a Planning/Strategist position
• You'll embrace multiple channels, multiple audiences and multiple markets but ensure the brand remains clear on its purpose, is highly distinctive and always consistent
• Presenting your thinking to impress the most senior of clients and inspire the day-to-day teams. We need someone who impresses from the first meeting, who can sell creative work as well as smart strategy and keep things super-simple yet deviously disruptive
