As the Vice President of Finance, you will play a crucial role in the financial stability, growth, and success. You will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company and providing strategic guidance to drive financial performance. Your expertise in managing food and beverages companies, particularly within the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry, will be invaluable in shaping our financial strategies and ensuring sustainable growth.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company's overall goals and objectives.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic plans.
• Oversee financial operations, including accounting, treasury, tax, and audit functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and present accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in a timely manner to support strategic financial decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate business opportunities, assess monetary risks, and drive profitability.
• Establish and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as investors, banks, and auditors, to facilitate fundraising and financial reporting.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulations and incorporate them into the company's financial strategies
• Monitor and analyze production and distribution cost, provide insightful analysis to support decision-making and cost optimization efforts.

Requirements:

• Familiarity with fundraising, investor relations, and financial reporting is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel for data analysis and modelling.
• Proficiency in using cost accounting software (i.e. Accurate).
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the capacity to lead and motivate a finance team.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Finance Accounting Manager, Financial Controller or similar role in a startup environment.
• Experience in the food and beverages industry, preferably within the FMCG sector.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, budgeting, and forecasting.
