Job Description

One of Peak XV’s (formerly Sequoia Capital) fintech portfolio companies is looking for a VP and Head For Business that will lead end-to-end growth of our B2B Product. This role will work closely with the product, marketing, sales, and operation team to craft the best strategy to help our users and build the business. This role will own the P&L and be the leader of our business product growth.


What you'll do

  • Working together with marketing to create an effective marketing strategy and execution to expand business
  • You will own the budget and responsible to the PnL of the entire B2B business
  • Working together with product, engineering, design, legal, compliance, and operation team to ensure we are building and delivering the best solution
  • Building and leading new solution for Business client
  • Crafting and leading Business product & business strategy
  • Leading Account Executive and Sales Support team on expanding market share, including build and mentor a team of highly motivated individuals to manage the business vertical and Improving the inbound flow and conversion rate; managing sales team performance, including incentives, market segmentation, GTM strategy, etc; improving cross sell rate
  • Develop and maintain relationships with partners & clients to support rapid growth


Requirements

  • Great business acumen with decent risk appetite
  • Experience in Fintech is a plus, but not mandatory
  • Nimble; Able to work with different functions to improve the quality of each function’s plans
  • Has strong motivation to grow business along with having alignment with our vision and values
  • Experience in owning P&L, NOT (only) experience in leading sales team
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proven experience in building and nurturing team
  • Solid background with at least 8 years of experience working in the merchant/SME/B2B facing company
  • Hustle; Have a great ownership and can do attitude; Willing to go into details and comfortable to be scrappy, to push through even when things are not perfect
  • Very strong problem solving ability and structuring ability
  • High willingness to learn, to figure out the unknown, and to be resourceful
  • Comfortable with working in ambiguity
  • Experience in either launching a business from zero OR growing a business from early growth to million dollars in revenue
