As the Analytical Development Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in our research and development efforts by overseeing the development and validation of analytical methods for various pharmaceutical products. You will ensure the smooth transfer of methods to the quality control (QC) department and manage the distribution of samples to the analytical team. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining the availability and proper use of instruments and equipment, as well as ensuring the appropriateness of specifications, analysis methods, and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Developing analytical methods for starting material, finished product, and alternative materials, both internal and external, and searching independent laboratories for collecting relevant information to develop an analytical method.
- Updating specification and analytical methods based on the recent reference, compendial, and regulations.
- Ensuring transfer method to QC department runs as well, and ensuring implementation with well compliance.
- Arrange sample test to an analyst and crosscheck the result test from an analyst.
- Maintain the availability and proper use of instruments, equipment, and reagents.
- Ensuring the specification, method analysis, and procedure, related to the pharmaceutical industrial requirements.
Qualifications:
- Ensure that specifications, analysis methods, procedures, and documentation are appropriate and in line with industry requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Familiarity with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and regulatory guidelines related to analytical development.
- Familiarity with industry standards, compendial references, and regulatory guidelines related to analytical development.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills to effectively manage a team and coordinate tasks.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines.
