Job Brief
Currently the company is expanding their team and looking for a Sales Engineer for the Cooling Tower Division. In this position, you will be responsible for identifying and developing opportunities for the sales of package cooling towers and associated spare parts to the industrial, HVAC and data center market segments.
This will include developing your own sales leads, and following up leads from digital marketing, and referrals from principal suppliers.
Also to develop sales opportunities from related customers for chemical water treatment programs in related cooling systems and associated plant.
The covered brands are BAC (Baltimore Air Coil), Clearwater, Zi-Chem, and others.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain territory sales and marketing strategic plan.
- Achieve realistic sales targets as assigned by direct manager.
- Carry our sales development activities including identification of prospect, cold calls, introductions, follow up, needs identification, offering solutions, negotiating close, closing new business.
- Conduct site visits to prospects and clients including technical surveys and sales presentations.
- Conduct negotiations on new and existing client contracts.
- Assist with promotional sales seminars and trade displays when required.
- Support representative of overseas product supplier.
- Undergo orientation and training on products and applications under your sales responsibility.
- Develop sufficient product knowledge to allow meaningful engagement with supplier and customers personnel, including features benefits to satisfy customer requirement and differentiate from competitors.
- Maintain internal reporting as required by direct department manager
- Provide professional verbal and written correspondence to clients and business colleagues
Requirements
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal Bahasa & English) with experience working in multiple locations.
- Highly motivated and a self-starter
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- University S1 engineering degree or higher.
- Knowledgeable in MS Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Knowledgeable in using a computer, tablet, smart phone, and other work-related technology
- Able to work independently (remote office)
- Ability to work under pressure and over hours (target oriented)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales engineering activities of mechanical equipment to industrial applications with a proven successful track record.
- MUST be highly motivated and a Self-Starter.
- Ability to work away from home in remote locations sometimes extended periods of time.
- Valid driver’s license A and C and acceptable motor vehicle record.
