Regional Executive Chef Jobs

We are looking for a qualified individual who is highly motivated and knowledgeable, skillful to join our growing team as Regional Executive Chef.

MAJOR FUNCTION AND REPORTING

• Assisting the Regional Director of Culinary for the research, testing, development, documenting, training, implementing, monitoring, evaluating, and making necessary adjustments to innovative new dishes, concepts and/or food programs.
• Involved in new facility design and roll out, menu creation, cost reduction, establishing and maintaining culinary standards.
• Directly responsible to the Regional Director of Culinary to ensure planning, implementing, and supporting new food concepts or programs within Indonesia region are met as per Swiss-Belhotel International standards.

REQUIRED/DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Ability to assess food production and quality standards accurately.
• ServeSafe Certified, expert knowledge of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) and Food Safety practices and the ability to identify and correct problems in the operations.
• 10+ years of food & beverage or culinary leadership experience, food service, hospitality restaurant, or similar industry.
• Train the Trainer Certified.
• Self-motivated to maintain knowledge of current food trends and changes in the industry.
• Proven work experience as an Executive Chef or similar role for minimum 5 years in a complex or cluster properties.
• Bachelor/Diploma degree in Hotel or Culinary or relevant field.

This position requires frequent travelling to properties around Indonesia managed by Swiss-Belhotel International.
