Executive Pastry Chef - The Langham, Jakarta

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage pastry and bakery functions, operations and ensure compliance with all Food & Beverage SOP
• Train & develop colleagues on fundamentals of pastry and bakery
• Ensure superior quality products, flavors, plate presentations and techniques
• Maintain corporate food preparation and presentation guidelines to ensure consistent quality culinary offerings
• Participate in training staff on menu items including ingredients, preparation methods and unique tastes
• Support procedures for F&B portions and waste controls

Qualifications:

• Ability to work cohesively with entire culinary staff as part of a team
• Good communication in English both writing and speaking.
• Strong leadership and teamwork.
• Ability to operate Material Control system is preferable
• Ability to produce creative and artistic food work in Pastry & Bakery
• Degree in Culinary is preferred.
• · Minimum 5 years experience in similar position at 5 Star Luxury Hotel.
• Ability to work under pressure with creativity and integrity.
• Understanding in HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point).
