Overview The Area Executive Chef is responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of multiple restaurants or food outlets within a specific geographic area. This includes managing the kitchen staff, developing menus, and ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety. The Area Executive Chef must also ensure that the restaurants are meeting their financial goals and that all health and safety regulations are being followed. Detailed Job Description The Area Executive Chef is responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of multiple restaurants or food outlets within a specific geographic area. This includes managing the kitchen staff, developing menus, and ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety. The Area Executive Chef must also ensure that the restaurants are meeting their financial goals and that all health and safety regulations are being followed. The Area Executive Chef is also responsible for training and developing kitchen staff, monitoring food costs, and ensuring that all food is prepared in a timely manner. The Area Executive Chef is also responsible for creating and implementing new menu items, as well as developing and maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers. Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts or related field
• 5+ years of experience in a kitchen management role
• ServSafe certification
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques
• Ability to work with a variety of ingredients
• Ability to work with a variety of kitchen equipment
• Knowledge of food cost control
• Knowledge of menu development
