Operations Director - Data Centre

About the Company:

Our client is one of the fastest-growing data centre providers globally. They develop and operates data center infrastructure in the dynamic digital economies of Asia including China, Singapore, India, Indonesia, and Japan.

Job Responsibilities:

• Encourage and direct advancements in teamwork, technological innovation, and automation
• Manage the performance of the teams of data centre operation professionals.
• Control and enhance the throughput and work-flows for data centre operations.
• Be passionate about the quality and quantity of services being provided, and continuously strive to improve our Customer Experience
• Ascertain that all operational KPIs and metrics are tracked and met.
• Ensure effective and efficient administration of daily data centre operations, including queue management, 24/7 shift arrangement, and hardware logistics.

Key Requirements:

• Knowledge of data center MEP Infrastructure: Power, Cooling & Facilities Management
• ITIL Foundation, PMP, Lean, Six Sigma and/or Risk related certifications
• In-depth knowledge on data center operations, processes and continuous processes improvement
• Minimum 5 years of people management experience with direct reports as their performance manager
• Data Center related certification - CDCP/S/E, CDCMP/TP would be preferred
