Operations Director - Agriculture

Our client is well known player in Indonesia’s agriculture landscape and spearheading the industry. With a huge portfolio and subsidiaries spreading across plantations, processing and distribution facilities, it remains among the top leaders in the production space.

Job Responsibilities:

• Establish, measure, and evaluate critical KPI’s. Manage production and output standards in relation to KPI’s and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee the management of all areas of manufacturing and plantation operations
• Drives implementation of new processes and capabilities in support of strategic growth plans and continuously looks for ways to drive productivity and process improvements on both operational fronts
• Generate and implement programs that streamline processes, optimize costs, and renovate systems
• Coordinate new product launches with Product Development team and drive the implementation of new products and formulations into processing and production facilities

Key Requirements:

• Strong stakeholder management - both internally and externally across all levels
• In-depth understanding and experience with technical agricultural production operations across multiple areas and stages
• Able to be do site visits and comfortable with rural settings
• Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment and a continuous improvement mindset with previous experience managing large teams across multiple facilities
• Minimum of 15 years of work experience in the management of both plantations and manufacturing operations, preferably in the agriculture industry
