Data Centre Construction Project Manager

Ellipse Projects, which finances and builds infrastructure in emerging economies, is looking for a full time Data Centre Construction Project Manager to deliver the civil works aspects of a Tier 4 data centre in Indonesia. The role is based in Jakarta, reports directly to Ellipse Projects' Chief Operations Officer, and has an attractive remuneration package.

Responsibilities

• Manage the tendering for the construction project and manage the contracts after they are awarded
• Plan and manage a complex construction project in Indonesia in compliance with project specifications, deadlines, budget and quality standards
• Control costs, deadlines, performance and quality
• Close coordination with the person responsible for the customer facing and ICT aspects of the overall project
• Ensure adherence to the schedule and coordination with suppliers and contractors

Qualifications

• Initiative
• Perfect command of English
• Expertise in managing the construction of data centres and/or other similar structures
• Expertise in overall construction project management including structural, MEP and architectural aspects
• Interpersonal and communication skills
• Management and team leadership
• Mastery of project management methods, standards and tools
• Excellent stress management and ability to work under pressure
