Job Description
An exciting Key Account Manager FMCG (Hypermarket and Supermarket) job opportunity has become available at a reputable global consumer goods company.


About the Key Account Manager FMCG (Hypermarket and Supermarket) Role:


Based in Jakarta, this role will manage key accounts (hypermarket and supermarket) for personal care/health and beauty categories. This role will work together with internal stakeholders (e.g. marketing team) to implement initiatives in order to improve relationships and business with the partners.


Key Responsibilities


  • Introduce initiatives and innovations to key accounts in order to get their support for their successful implementation
  • Develop a deep understanding of customers to drive business results and create competitive advantage
  • Develop relevant promotional campaigns that deliver incremental sales and profit and work with distributors/e-commerce enablers and the regional team to implement the campaign to meet its objectives
  • Act as a trusted consultant for key accounts by providing business insights based on internal data and/or any relevant external data
  • Monitor the performance of key accounts at a corporate level and property level, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to solve problems and/or to catch opportunities
  • Ensure long-term win/win business relationships
  • Ensure that all financial and legal requirements agreed in the partnership are respected by both parties
  • Act as a single point of contact for key accounts for both business and technical queries
  • Build, maintain, and continuously improve relationships with key accounts as well as internal stakeholders to ensure that the interests of both parties are well managed


To succeed in this role, you will need to be a self-starter with ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to change in a fast-paced environment and have strong experience managing hypermarket and supermarket within personal care or health and beauty environment.


Key Requirements


  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in key account management or strategic channel development in the consumer goods industry
  • Strong experience managing omnichannel for health and beauty accounts
  • Excellent verbal and writing communication skills, in both English and Bahasa
  • Excellent analytical skills and passion for working with data
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field (marketing, business, communications, etc.)
