About The Inventory Manager (Warehousing And Logistics Company) Role

Due to excellent results and future expansion plans, Inventory Manager is responsible for planning, organising actuating, and controlling any activities related to inventory management so that products stock can be properly maintained in accordance with system records, and establish initiatives to implement/identify continuous improvement areas in the inventory work scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Make preventive and corrective steps as a means of improvement in the inventory department to improve the performance of the inventory team so that they can run efficiently and effectively
• Plan and monitor KPIs in the inventory department, including: location accuracy, SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) accuracy, quantity and line accuracy so that they can be achieved
• Ensure the cycle count and stock take processes can run well, by also coordinating with warehouse operations
• Make regular reports on the realisation and analysis of all operational activities in the inventory department to the management
• Develop SOPs in the inventory department so that the inventory process runs according to established standards
• Monitor stock accuracy, expired product, product damage and ensure that it can run optimally in the warehouse
• Carry out and complete tasks given by superiors

To succeed in this Inventory Manager role, you must have good leadership skills, thorough, firm, good logic, and be good at identifying and processing data.

Key Requirements

• Good leadership skills, able to analyse problems, good and fast in problem solving, good communication and interpersonal skills
• Understands and able to implement inventory management and operational processes
• Experience in 3PL logistics/supply chain company
• Bachelor's degree from any major
• Good English proficiency (verbal and written)
• Minimum of five years of work experience as an Inventory Manager
• Able to analyse stock data accurately and quickly
• Able to operate Ms. Office (especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Thoroughness and accuracy, especially in identifying warehouse processes that cause inaccuracies
