Job Description

Key Accountabilities :


  1. Ensure pallet transfers, pallet hire costs and recoveries are managed and processed in accordance with contract terms and conditions.
  2. Work closely with Warehouse & Transport operations to manage daily pallet activities for multiple sites.
  3. Perform monthly stocktakes to achieve consistent accuracy.
  4. Collate monthly pallet reconciliation for all sites and report to regional office.
  5. Implement, oversee and ensure sites comply with the Pallet procedures and provide training as required.
  6. Undertake regular audits of operational site pallet accounts.
  7. Identifying opportunities to prevent and recover identified pallet loss.
  8. Negotiate with customers and all stakeholders to ensure the risk of pallet loss is minimized.
  9. Work proactively to reduce risk of pallet loss or theft as required.
  10. Advise other teams on pallet policy matters.


Requirements :


  1. Proven employment histories in pallet management, pallet control and pallet recovery are preferred.
  2. Outstanding skills in policies, procedures and internal audit programs development.
  3. Demonstrated numerical and analytical skills.
  4. Excellent communication skills to interact with different stakeholders, explain findings, and resolve discrepancies effectively.
  5. Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to spot inconsistencies and inaccuracies in the data.
  6. Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies and reconcile conflicting information.
  7. Organizational Skills: The capacity to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, as data reconciliation often involves handling large datasets and collaborating with various parties.
  8. Possess detailed knowledge in SAP & 2IC will be added advantage. Data reconciliation can involve various data formats and systems, so being adaptable to different technologies is beneficial.
  9. Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate at all levels across the business.
  10. Proven time management ability. Ability to meet deadlines and efficiently allocate time for different reconciliation tasks.
  11. Leadership with ability to manage in ambiguous environment, consistently works against the priorities.
  12. Initiative, committed and self-motivated with ability to manage functional responsibilities.
  13. Possess a passion for excellence and a proven ability to initiate change and continuously seek improvement.
