A multinational pharmaceutical company is recruiting for a Finance Director job to lead its business.

About The Finance Director Role

In this business critical role, you will be responsible mainly for the end-to-end spectrum of finance and accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with external stakeholders – including external auditor, bank, etc.
• Consolidate finances of group entities
• Review and monitor tax calculations and payments done by the tax consultants
• Review and provide accurate financial reports and including monthly management accounting report
• Provide competitor analysis, market trends and managing budgets as well as help to formulate strategic and long-term business strategies
• Provide recommendations to management and act as business partner to enhance efficiency and productivity
• Manage accounts receivables, payments and cash operations
• Improve its accounting process and system as well as their financial reporting
• Supervise daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly operations within the finance and accounting department

To succeed in this Finance Director role, you need to have accounting, finance and taxation skills.

Key Requirements

• Relevant experience of system implementation is an advantage
• Industry background in multinational pharmaceutical or FMCG
• Finance or accounting degree (professional qualifications is useful – ACCA, CFA, CPA, CA)
• Good leadership and team management, independent and proactive
• Strong in analytical skills
• In-depth knowledge in accounting, local GAAP and IFRS
• Previous experience in a Big 4
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
