Associate Network & Engagement Officer

We are currently assisting one of our client a well known internet company based in Jakarta in searching for Associate Network & Engagement Officer role

What you will do:

• Jointly responsible for ensuring meaningful discussions through the organization and implementation of all associative events
• Ensure that key activities, issues and development of the company Movement, and regional/local community are kept track of by the Association and the Board
• Foster meaningful membership engagement that encourages members to take ownership of the Association and take part in the governance process in company
• Develop and implement all Associative engagement related strategies and plans
• Responsible for the stimulation of associative dynamics within the region
• Identify and recruit members to ensure sustainability of the association and the Board and manage membership database in accordance with legal and institutional requirements
• Lead and manage efficiently a well-established network of representation of company Association in the region, including working with focal points, other company entities (Associations and missions) and the overall company Movement
• Build and strengthen regional associative networks to achieve strong associative connections with local communities, peers and other company entities

What you will need:

• A self-starter with stress tolerance, flexibility ability to handle large volumes of work, and track multiple projects and support multiple groups or activities at any one time
• Experience in event planning and/or technical support to meetings and events
• Minimum 3 years of experience preferably in communications, graphical design, event management, or relevant areas; preferably 1 year NGO experience
• Bachelor's degree with any major
• Genuine interest in, understanding of and commitment to the humanitarian principles, social mission, operations, and challenges of NGO Business
• Flexibility to work additional/out of hours as necessary to fulfil the requirements of the role and willingness to undertake travel
• Excellent communication skills including public speaking, networking, cross-cultural awareness and sound knowledge of using communication tools
• Knowledge of, and interest in governance issues and the values of non-governmental organization
• Excellent oral and written fluency in English
