Job Description
Purpose of Position
A blend of creative and strategy, Associate Digital Activation Specialists are focused on identifying opportunities for optimisation and experimentation within Jiva’s existing applications, services, and top of funnel experiences. Focused on increasing conversion, engagement and retention rates, the role will leverage in-app and on-website communication tools, and external messaging channels (WhatsApp, SMS etc.) to drive desired behaviours amongst new and existing users.
Experienced using CRM Tools and adept at using data drawn from tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, CleverTap, and other analytics platforms. To draw insights about Jiva’s customers, they will drive experimentation, including through A/B Testing and collaborate closely with Jiva’s product team, to trial incremental improvements, before they are implemented holistically.
The ideal candidate has a love for driving engagement for rural markets through digital and data-driven decision making, is relentless in their pursuit of optimisation, has a keen creative eye, and deep experience in-app marketing. A successful candidate has experience supporting digital marketing programs and is comfortable leveraging marketing automation technologies.
Jiva currently has two Android applications (farmer and micro collector), a WhatsApp based agronomy service, and several websites. These will be the focus for the role.
Key Accountabilities
  • Collaborate with product, operations, and design teams across Jiva to drive awareness around specific features (new and existing) or rule changes
  • Design and run experiments to increase app activation rates, and feature usage; reporting on these to the growth team and broader audiences
  • Management of Jiva’s CleverTap instance execution, including the creation of reports, dashboards, funnels, journeys, and other functions to increase engagement from automation of Jiva
  • Analyze and reporting campaign and in-app performance and trends,; recommend courses of action
  • Creation of customer segmentation and cohort analysis models that can be used across Jiva’s applications
  • Distribute marketing campaigns / promotions, and business updates through in-app and external messaging channels (SMS, WA), including running automation, creating content, targeting, set-up, testing, execution, reporting, and optimization
Competencies
  • Strong data analytics skills, high proficiency with excel is a must, proficiency with other data analytics platforms and SQL is a plus
  • Strong campaign management skills (execution, managing deadlines and objectives, delivering recommendations) and experience driving campaigns end-to-end
  • Experience in the setup and tracking of cohort analysis and customer segmentation for digital products and services
  • Ability to design marketing materials using Figma, or similar is a plus
  • Native Bahasa Indonesia speaker, and strong “professional/business” English language proficiency (written and spoken)
  • Strong understanding of events-based trigger systems for digital marketing, promotions, and communication
  • Fluency with CRM tools like CleverTap in-app messaging and analytics platform such as Mixpanel
Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience working in start-ups and small teams. This is an executing role with limited support
  • Bachelors degree in marketing / media and communications / digital media /computer science, or other relevant degree
  • Experienced in driving experimentation loops (such as A/B), including designing and running experiments to track improvement in app / website / feature usage rates
  • 2+ years’ experience working on CRM marketing and “app activation”, or similar digital experience such as website activation and optimisation
Key Performance Indicators & Conduct Requirements:
  • Improve current retention rates, and size of installed user base across Jiva’s products and services
  • PIC for in-app, and external messaging channels (SMS, WA) and communication
  • Experimentation delivery and tracking
  • Increase in-app usage and MAU rates for the existing user base across Jiva’s products and services
