We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Product Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing pricing strategies, managing stakeholder inquiries, and conducting analysis to generate competitive insights. As part of the Pricing Strategy team, you will be required to have a strong understanding of pricing concepts, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.


Responsibilities:


Accommodation Pricing Strategy


  • Implement pricing strategies based on market research, competitive analysis, and company objectives.
  • Assist in the development and execution of pricing experiments and A/B tests to optimize pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, revenue and growth, supply growth, and marketing, to ensure alignment of pricing strategies implementation with overall business objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate implemented pricing strategy metrics, provide recommendations for adjustments as needed to maximize growth and profitability.


Competitive Insight and Analytics


  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices in pricing strategy.
  • Maintain reliability and accuracy of competitiveness monitoring dashboard
  • Conduct thorough analysis of market trends, customer behavior, and competitor pricing to generate actionable insights.
  • Maintain awareness of price competitiveness and update pricing strategies on a regular basis, in accordance with the agreed strategy from stakeholders.


Operational and Administrative Support


  • Handle inquiries from stakeholders, such as product operation, market management and product development team regarding pricing-related issues.
  • Gain understanding with relevant tools for problem checking, identification, and root cause investigation
  • Identify areas for improvement in internal processes to expedite problem handling process based on these findings
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end pricing setup of simple campaigns with limited dependencies to other team members and leads


Requirements


  • Demonstrate expertise in leveraging data analytics tools (e.g. Tableau, GDS, minimum Google sheet or Excel) and platforms to drive insights and inform decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data sets to drive strategy and innovation.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, user behavior, and industry trends in the accommodation space.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • 3 years or more of working experience at strategy or management consulting firms, multinational technology or manufacturing or O&G companies, multinational banks, or a credible and strong track record in building or growing a product
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business, Data Science, Computer Science, STEM, Actuarial). A master's degree is a plus.
