Job Description

LEGAL OFFICER & HR OPERATIONS

Job Summary:

The Legal Officer and HR Operations role combines legal expertise with human resources responsibilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling legal matters, drafting agreements, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, and supporting HR operations. They will play a crucial role in safeguarding the company's legal interests, managing legal documentation, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in Indonesia.


Responsibilities:

Legal Officer:

* Draft and review various legal agreements, including but not limited to contracts, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), memorandums of understanding (MOUs), and other legal documents.

* Provide legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on contractual matters and legal risks involved.

* Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with relevant labor laws, regulations, and industry standards.

* Monitor and manage legal documentation, ensuring proper storage, retrieval, and confidentiality.

* Liaise with external legal counsel as needed and assist in managing legal disputes or litigation processes.

* Stay up to date with changes in legislation and provide recommendations to ensure compliance.


HR Operations:

* Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and HR policies, keeping abreast of any changes and implementing necessary updates.

* Manage and oversee the employee on-boarding and off-boarding processes, including contract preparation, background checks, and exit interviews.

* Maintain employee records and ensure accurate data entry into the HRIS (Human Resources Information System).

* Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.

* Support the implementation and administration of HR programs, policies, and initiatives.

* Assist in resolving employee relations issues and provide guidance on disciplinary actions and grievance procedures.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

* Timely and accurate drafting and review of legal agreements and documentation.

* Compliance with labor laws and regulations in all HR practices.

* Effectiveness in providing legal advice and risk mitigation strategies.

* Proper maintenance and organization of legal documentation.

* Timely and accurate in HR administrative tasks.

* Timely resolution of employee relations issues and effective implementation of HR programs.


Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field.

* Minimum 2 years experience is a must

* Proven experience in drafting and reviewing legal agreements, NDAs, and other legal documentation.

* In-depth knowledge of Indonesian labor laws, regulations, and HR practices.

* Familiarity with employment contracts, labor disputes, and disciplinary procedures.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess legal risks and propose solutions.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.

* Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.

* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

* Proficiency in using MS Office and HRIS software.
