Job Description
  • Manage the incident and problem management process and ensure all incidents and problems are properly identified, prioritized, investigated, and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation related to production issues, including incident reports, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base articles.
  • Perform root cause analysis to identify underlying problems and make recommendations for improvements to prevent future incidents and problems.
  • Communicate with stakeholders and IT teams to provide updates on incidents and problems, including root cause analysis and resolution plans.
  • Develop and implement incident and problem management policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Provide training and guidance to IT staff on incident and problem management processes and tools.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Strong technical expertise in incident and problem management tools.
  • Understanding of production support processes, including change management and release management
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in incident and problem management, preferably in a complex IT environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in JIRA or Remedy is a plus point
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of ITIL principles and incident and problem management frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation related to production issues.
