Kredivo is seeking a performance driven & detail-oriented Assistant Vice President, Finance Operations for managing end-to-end finance operations including end-to-end money flows and reconciliation process. You will report directly to VP Finance and will serve as a liaison between the finance team and other departments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain financial accuracy, facilitate efficient processes, and support the company's overall financial goals.

Responsibilities:

Finance Operations

• Provide insights for process improvements and automation and work with relevant stakeholders to implement such changes and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Lead teams responsible for daily finance operations activities such as merchant disbursements, lender operations and customer repayment processing

Financial Data Reconciliation

• Build systems and processes to ensure timely and accurate data is provided to finance-accounting teams for daily posting in the system
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies as needed

Coordination and Issue Resolution

• Act as a central point of contact for financial-related data issues, coordinating efforts across different teams during investigations and the audit process.
• Project-manage and collaborate with various stakeholders to address and resolve issues effectively.

Transaction Monitoring:

• Monitor and address any issues or discrepancies to ensure smooth and accurate operations
• Collaborate with the product team to oversee daily merchant, user, and lender repayment and disbursement operations

Working Capital Management

• Help forecast and monitor the cash flow required for daily deposit and repayment operations, ensuring uninterrupted business operations.

Requirements

• Speak English fluently
• Basic/practical understanding of Income tax art. 23 and VAT is a plus
• Minimum 6 years as Finance Operation Manager or 3 years as Finance Operation Senior Manager, with experience in handling finance operations of managing millions of transactions
• Good understanding of finance IT systems that power money flows; with working knowledge of SQL a big plus.
• Adept at managing people. You will be leading a 20+ strong finance operations teams
• Experienced in leading finance operation automation projects. You will be expected to have high attention to detail and a systems-based mindset
