Inclusive Finance And Distribution Manager

The Inclusive Finance Manager will oversee and coordinate the implementation of inclusive finance initiatives and manage agri-inputs for agricultural development projects. This role involves working closely with small businesses and producers, financial institutions, and agri-inputs manufacturers and suppliers to ensure access to finance and availability of quality agri-inputs for smallholder farmers and small-scale producers.

This position will be based in Indonesia, with frequent work at our offices in Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Bali, Sulawesi, and Aceh.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the timely distribution and delivery of agri-inputs to producers, ensuring accessibility and efficiency.
• Manage inventory of agri-inputs, including forecasting demand, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring proper storage conditions.
• Assess the agri-input requirements of producers based on crop types, soil conditions, and local farming practices.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of inclusive finance initiatives on small businesses and producers' livelihoods and propose improvements as needed.
• Maintain strong relationships with small businesses, producers, farmer groups, financial institutions, and suppliers.
• Identify and select reliable suppliers and negotiate favorable terms for the procurement of agri-inputs, including seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and machinery.
• Collaborate with lenders, financial institutions, and microfinance organizations to develop and implement inclusive finance strategies for small businesses and producers.
• Provide guidance and support to small businesses and producers in understanding financial processes, loan applications, and managing their finances effectively.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in agriculture, agribusiness, finance, rural development, or a related field.
• Strong financial literacy and knowledge of inclusive finance and microfinance.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A deep understanding of agricultural practices, crop production systems, and agribusiness isessential.
