Algoritma was founded in 2017 to make data science accessible to everybody. We organize corporate training, programming workshops, and data science bootcamps that adopt a learn-by-building approach suited to beginners and non-programmers.
Human Resource & Operations at Algoritma will help with all aspects of Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, and Recruitment and Operations. Successful candidates will help our team members to improve their career development through learning & development programs and support talents to discover new opportunities within Algoritma.
You will work closely with our leaders to help them run successful business operations and build a high-performance team emphasizing quality, productivity, goal attainment, and empowerment.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, payroll administration, and benefits enrollment.
- Collaborate with various departments to optimize resource allocation and ensure operational goals are met.
- Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships.
- Handle end-to-end recruitment process; sourcing candidates on multiple platforms, drafting employment contracts, and on-board/off-board employees.
- Administer and maintain HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms.
- Plan, implement and coordinate internal events, learning activities, and Employee engagement activities.
- Maintain Employee administration, including BPJS, insurance, attendance, and data administration.
- Manage performance appraisal, career planning & development.
- Preparing and distributing relevant HR letters/documents as per requirement.
- Managing annual leave and medical/hospital reimbursement.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve productivity and streamline processes.
- Identify areas for operational improvement and propose solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills, including intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Bachelor’s Degree (S1) from any field, preferably in Psychology, Law, Human Resource Management, or Industrial Engineering.
- Proactive, flexible, and willing to take on new projects and deliver on time.
- Minimum 3-4 years experience as an HR Generalist/Operations, experienced in a fast-paced start-up industry will be a plus.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and other relevant software applications.
- Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills, and presentation skills
- High integrity, strong in multitasking, communications, good problem solving (critical, strategic, and evaluative thinking), time management, interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently or within a team.
