A GM IT job has become available at a large retail business, to join a successful business unit based in Jakarta. This is a large established company and you would report directly to the CTO.

About the GM IT Role:
This business critical role will act as the technology adviser for the business unit to further the company's growth. You will be fully responsible for all aspects of technology, leading the company's infrastructure, development, security, and transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with other business units to leverage new technology to improve the IT infrastructure
• Evaluate new technology and make recommendations on new technology solutions
• Identify competitive advantages and technology trends to grow the company
• Consistently evaluate technical efficiency and make changes where necessary
• Work closely with all business leaders to define and deliver new products and enhance existing processes

To succeed in this GM IT role, you will need deep technical expertise in infrastructure and application technologies.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or related field
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Successful in fast-paced and quick-changing environments
• Exceptional project management and organisational skills
