About Our Client
We are currently representing a holding group with several diversified business ventures. Due to their expansion plan in Indonesia, they are looking to recruit for a GM Procurement for one of the Group's business units in Industrial and manufacturing sector.

Procurement & Contract Strategy:

• Create and implement an efficient contracting and procurement strategy that aligns with the overall organizational goals.
• Take charge of structuring, executing, and overseeing contract and procurement activities while adhering to Core Values.
• Collaborate with other departments such as delivery, legal, and finance to ensure legally and tax-compliant contract and purchase structures.

Supply Chain Operations:

• Implement standard processes and procedures consistent with Global standards, meeting external/internal audit requirements.
• Lead a team of project procurement buyers, logistics, and warehouse members, ensuring the procurement function's effectiveness through goal setting, training, and development.
• Utilize benchmarking and cost modelling tools to achieve competitive costs, enhance winning chances, and improve margins.
• Manage all purchasing and contract administration activities, ensuring supplier compliance with regulatory and reputation standards.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of suppliers, both domestically and internationally, focusing on cost drivers impacting vendor costing. Establish and manage a vendor database, pre-qualification criteria, and conduct annual reviews for high-spend vendors.

Strategic Sourcing:

• Conduct holistic strategic reviews on spend/cost & value opportunity analysis to integrate potential value/cost reduction opportunities into a successful strategic sourcing plan.
• Analyze market trends, driving factors, and potential adverse impacts on the business to develop mitigation plans.
• Influence the project bid/proposal process by devising the best third-party strategy to secure a competitive cost position during customer pursuits.
• Formulate and implement strategies and processes that facilitate regional/global spend leverage, competitive pricing, quality, delivery, and risk management with the supply base.

Logistics & Warehousing:

• Act as the SCM representative for all Internal/External Trade Compliance Audits.
• Assume overall responsibility for the warehouse, including sales order inventory, Inventory counts, packing & labeling, and handling RMA materials.
• Ensure SCM activities comply with trade compliance policies and procedures.
• Oversee End-to-End Logistics functions, including inwards, dispatches, freight forwarding, customs clearance and local trucking for External Vendors.

The Successful Applicant

• Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven experience 7 years as a Procurement Manager or a similar role in the automotive, industrial, or manufacturing industry.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, contract management, and supply chain principles.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
