About The GM HR (Retail) Role

Reporting to the Director, you are responsible for the company’s human resources strategy, framework and systems, ensuring they are aligned with the business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure legal compliance and implementation of the organisations mission and talent strategy
• Provide strategic human resources leadership to the executive management and the human resources functions in operations
• Collaborate with senior leadership to understand the organisations goals and strategy
• Plan, lead, develop, coordinate, and implement policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organisations human resource compliance and strategy needs

To succeed in this GM HR (Retail) role, you must have 15 years of solid HR experience including three years at General Manager level within hospitality and/or retail industries.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar relevant field
• Proven track experience in leading HR within a large-sized organisation in the retail and/or hospitality industries
• Readiness to travel
• Fluency in Bahasa and English (both spoken and written)
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Solid knowledge of human resources best practices and statutory requirements
