Retail Credit Scoring Head (Vp)

As the credit scoring head, you will be responsible in the stage and process of development, implementation, reviewing of the retail credit scoring.

Description

• Monitor, back test and report performance of the models.
• Develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in rating methodologies.
• Develop, implement and maintain credit retail scorecards and segmentation models for the measurement and management of credit risk of the Bank's consumer and emerging business portfolios.
• Build credit risk modelling, analytics and reporting for retail consumer segment.
• Engage with auditors and regulators to ensure compliance with relevant requirements
• Active engagement with stakeholders to develop analytic solutions using outputs from such models in credit decisioning, business strategies, risk appetite setting, provisioning and capital assessment
• Collaborate closely with product team to determine how technology help to detect and reduce risk.
• Work closely with independent model validators to ensure adherence to the governance framework and validation standards for model deployment and ensure timely closure of validation issues.
• Develop and maintain user requirements, parameters and configurations of rating systems.

Profile

• Experience of reporting in a Financial environment.
• Have strong verbal and written skills that ensure you can explain technical concepts to less technically focused colleagues and produce suitable documentation
• Hold minimum of Bachelor degree in an analytical discipline (e.g. maths, statistics),or related fields.
• Confident in engaging with stakeholders at all levels and a keen attention to detail
• Have significant experience of credit modelling using statistic tool such as R, Phyton SAS, SQL analytical tools or advanced MS Excel skills
• Experience and/or understanding of: data validation and verification techniques, advanced data manipulation techniques, development and production lifecycles, error handling, and automated reporting generation.
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience of working in credit / risk modelling for retail customers especially unsecured lending in bank or non bank
