Job Description

The Image Review Analyst will be responsible for performing a detailed evaluation of Transmission, Distribution, Solar, and Substation assets based on field inspection pictures. Will also be cross-functional to assist in field inspections, laboratory testing, and engineering support as needed.


Essential Functions

  • Works closely with GIS Data Analysts and Engineers – Provides organized data and findings for engineering review.
  • Identifies anomalies and classifies assets
  • Maintains catalogs, specifications books, and engineering standards; understands the lab and product engineering filing systems to effectively retrieve technical data; reads reports, periodicals, and textbooks as required to stay current with work responsibilities.
  • Has a working knowledge of PLP products and transmission/distribution systems.
  • Analyzes and thermally tunes infrared images.
  • Uses ArcGIS web maps
  • Produces metrics and statistics based on inspection results.
  • Reviews inspection images and perform a detailed evaluation


Qualifications And Requirements

  • Minimum one-year experience in a technical environment preferred.
  • Ability to use a computer and applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Travel Requirements: 30%
  • High school diploma with some additional technical course work or working knowledge in a technical capacity. Engineering tech degree preferred
