About The Head Of Procurement (F&B Retail) Role

Due to excellent results and future expansion plans, the Head of Procurement (F&B Retail) will be responsible for overseeing the strategic sourcing and procurement activities of the company, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services required for our operations.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Oversee the Import process to make sure that it's comply with the current regulations
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers, conducting thorough assessments of their capabilities, reliability, and adherence to industry regulations and ethical standards
• Monitor market trends, industry developments, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and enhanced supplier performance
• Develop and implement the overall procurement strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives, focusing on cost savings, quality improvement, and supplier performance
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favourable terms, pricing, and contracts while ensuring the highest quality of goods and services
• Lead and manage the procurement team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure their continuous growth and development
• Drive sustainable and environmentally responsible procurement practices, promoting ethical sourcing, waste reduction, and socially responsible supplier selection
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies regarding procurement, sourcing, and supplier relationships
• Oversee the entire procurement process, including demand forecasting, purchase order management, inventory control, and delivery scheduling, to meet operational requirements efficiently
• Analyse procurement data, generate reports, and provide insights to support decision-making, cost analysis, and performance evaluation

With the expertise in procurement strategies, supplier management, and negotiation, you will take lead in optimising the supply chain, maintaining high-quality standards, and driving profitability ability to articulate strategy to operational teams.

Key Requirements

• Excellent negotiation, contract management, and supplier evaluation skills
• Proficiency in procurement software and systems, such as ERP systems
• Analytical mindset with the ability to utilise data and metrics to drive decision-making and process improvements
• Proven experience 10+ years in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within the F&B retail industry
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of sustainability practices and commitment to promoting ethical sourcing and environmental responsibility
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
• Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, market trends, and supplier management
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
