We’re looking for designers who

• Are empathetic: The key to creating a great user experience is understanding the user. We need designers who can put themselves in the user's shoes and create designs that meet their needs and exceed their expectations.
• Are brave: We're not interested in designers who play it safe. We want people who are willing to take risks and push boundaries in the name of exceptional design.
• Are confident: We need designers who believe in their abilities and their ideas. Confidence is key to pushing boundaries and creating designs that stand out.
• Are professional: While we value creativity and balls, we also expect professionalism. We need designers who can maintain a professional demeanour, meet deadlines, and uphold the high standards that our clients expect.
• Are risk-takers: At Otterdev, we believe that taking risks is key to creating unique and impactful designs. We want people who aren't afraid to think outside the box.
• Are team players: Collaborative work is crucial to our success. We're looking for designers who can work well with others and contribute to a positive, creative team environment.
• Are human: When you’re building a product, you’re building it for the end-user. We need someone that cares about people, and designs with them in mind.
• Are self-starters: We need people who are motivated and able to take initiative. We don't want to have to micromanage - we want designers who are eager to jump in and start making a difference.

Requirements

• Strong Figma abilities
• If you’re think you need to send your degree certificate, you’re in the wrong place.
• Strong English capabilities - you should be able to converse and type in proper English.
• Graphic design skills is a plus (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc) for when we need to create our own visual assets for our websites or apps.
• Good understanding of design system creation, UI/UX processes, research, and prototyping
• Make sure you have good internet at all times. We’re 100% remote, so this is super important.
• Don’t have years under your belt but confident you can do the job? Come on in.
