Experience & Community Manager (Bali, Full-Time)


Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone creative, energetic who likes to connect people with each other.

Outpost members come to our locations for days, weeks, or months, seeking connection and a unique experience.You will lead those efforts.


You are responsible for facilitating Outpost’s dynamic community.

You will be the person to develop an atmosphere so that the rich mix of cultural creatives who use our space will meet and spark off each other.

You will work to develop an atmosphere to facilitate connections between people.

You will work with operations and marketing teams to develop experiences, events, and trips.

To succeed, you will find it personally rewarding to meet people and enjoy, and bring your own ideas to the job.


Responsibilities include:

  • Develop the member experiences in the space.
  • Create and manage budgets.
  • In charge of communication and customer service for the members and the community
  • Create and coordinate events from workshops to art classes and lunches to panel discussions and parties.
  • Delivering the unique members' experience to the community.
  • Work between operations and marketing team to make sure our events and content are attractive to potential members.
  • Interact and take the time to get to know the community.
  • Respond to members in a timely manner.
  • This position will be working based in Bali.
  • Understand our member’s needs and interests to be able to coordinate events and create content and experiences of value to our community.
  • Working with Experience & Community Coordinator as your team to manage experiences in the space and coordinate logistics behind events from catering, events set-up, etc.
  • Work alongside our Experience and Marketing team to follow all brand and event guidelines company-wide.
  • Foster an inclusive community by creating a welcoming environment for all gender, race, language, etc.


Job Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willing to commute within Outpost Locations in Bali.
  • Fluent in English is aMust.
  • Leadership person, professional, and good attitude.
  • 3+ years of experience working in guest experience management.
  • Experienced in planning and leading the events, including engaging with a community (workshop/skillshare/panel discussion/etc).
  • Proven work experience in a community role or similar.
  • Hands-on experiences with Social Media Management (Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, etc)
  • Having a background in the hospitality, tourism, and/or travel industry
  • A degree in marketing, communications, and another relevant field.
  • 4+ years of experience working in community engagement.
  • Open toboth locals and expats with willingness to relocate/live in Bali.
